Required for Sept a well qualified and experienced Head of English. The successful applicant must have a proven track record of running a vibrant and dynamic English department. The client school is an Independent school in a pleasant region of Berkshire.The post involves the management of a dynamic Science department and the management of the Science across the curriculum.

The post is full time and permanent. Responsibilities will include. 1. Judging Standards, 2. Evaluating Teaching and Learning 3. Leading sustainable improvements, through 4. Creating a positive climate for learning

This is very much a managerial role.It provides an excellent path to upper school management for an ambitious teacher
